The first time we received our window it came damaged from the factory. There was a significant bend in the aluminum like it was dropped before it was packaged. The paint wasn't even flecked so I think it happened before it was painted. The box it arrived in was undamaged so it didn't happen in transit. The seller replaced it at no cost but it took a while for them to get another in the size we ordered. The window does not come with weather stripping but the exact same weather stripping as original was available at our local hardware store for $9. Don't forget to use it on the outside or you'll have big problems in the future! When installing, be sure to go around and tighten the screws at least twice because as you tighten them around the window, others become loose. Before ordering measure your wall thickness by removing the old window. If you don't, it's quite possible the window won't fit the thickness.
